Day 1 Singapore Itinerary with Kids
Morning: Singapore Zoo

Start your trip with a visit to the Singapore Zoo, one of the best urban zoos in the world.
A natural rainforest setting about 30 minutes north of the city centre, easy to reach by taxi/Grab.
Insider Tip: Start the day with breakfast with the animals to enjoy a truly unique Singaporean experience with Orangutans!
It can get really hot, so recommended you spend the morning there from opening time to beat the crowds and take the kids bathers to cool off at the end at the splash pad.

Lunch & Afternoon: Chinatown

From Singapore Zoo it is easiest to take a taxi back to town for lunch. We love to head for Dim Sum in Chinatown at Yum Cha (corner of Trengannu and Smith streets).
After lunch, explore around Chinatown including the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum, Chinatown Heritage Centre and, of course, shopping!
Evening: Hawker Centre

Have dinner at one of Singapore’s famous hawker centres.
The two most accessible in the city centre are Lau Pa Sat (famous for its Satay street) and Makansutra Gluttons Bay .
Alternatively, try One Fullerton or Clifford Pier for al fresco dinner with views of the Marina Bay Sands and catch the nighttime light show at 8pm.
Day 2 Singapore itinerary with kids
Sentosa Island
Start early in the day with Universal Studios, rides and attractions themed around kiddy favourites such as the Minions, Shrek and Sesame Street.
There are rides and entertainment here for everyone, from toddlers to teens so the whole family will have a blast.
Insider Tip: It is definitely worth investing in an Express Pass, as no one wants to be stuck queuing with kids on a hot day. The park is pretty consistently busy year-round.

Lunch: Hit the Beach
Jump on the Sentosa Express monorail at Resorts World Sentosa and be whisked directly to the beach, where you will find plenty of family-friendly beachfront dining.
Some of our favourites include:
- FOC – this Mediterranean restaurant has a beach club vibe with a swimming pool to cool off in and pumping music. Food is a delicious selection of hot and cold Spanish tapas that can be eaten poolside or on the sand.
- Coastes – one of Sentosa’s oldest beach restaurants is still one of our favourites. It offers a laid-back atmosphere, cold beers and comfort food. It is located on a lovely stretch of beach with easy access to the water, so perfect for families.
- Trapizza – this beachfront pizza restaurant has long been a favourite with Singapore families thanks to its delicious wood-fired thin-crust pizzas. Pasta and Italian mains are also on offer.
Afternoon: Hang on Sentosa

Spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying what’s on offer on Sentosa. There are 3 beaches on Sentosa, and loads of other fun things to do, including:
- Singapore Oceanarium – huge aquarium, great idea for an indoor activity to escape the heat.
- Skyline Luge – scream if you wanna go faster! Fun downhill race for the family.
- Hydrodash – inflatable obstacle course off the beach at Palawan Beach.
- MegaZip Adventure Park – lots of adrenaline-inducing fun.
- Fort Siloso – war museum dedicated to the soldiers who lost their lives trying to defend Singapore.
