While there is no actual kids club at the Village Hotel on Sentosa, they do have the Mini Hotelier Programme, which looks fun for younger kids. Here a corridor of hotel rooms have been transformed into a kids play retreat with themed rooms for role play and creative activities.

The Village Hotel has an onsite restaurant Native Kitchen, and there are several other restaurants right across the courtyard in the Mess Hall. Its fantastic location also means you can easily access the rest of Sentosa by either the Sentosa shuttle bus or the hotel shuttle bus, and Vivocity is just a short bus or monorail ride away.

We particularly love the four cascading swimming pools that are set amongst the rainforest for relaxing afternoons, and if you are lucky enough to get some me-time, the luxurious Auriga spa is one of Singapore’s very best and is an experience not to be missed.

What really sets this luxury Singapore hotel apart for families is the recently refurbished Tower Wing with its impressive family floor, including their amazing themed family suites with their fun bunk beds and the fabulous kids club Buds by Shangri-La.

My kids think this is the perfect hotel and continually ask to go back and stay in the themed suites.

Fullerton Hotel Singapore

The Fullerton Hotel is one of the best-loved luxury hotels in Singapore. The stunning colonial building was completed in 1928, and was named after Robert Fullerton, the first Governor of the Straits Settlements.

Its magnificent lobby and atrium lead the way to 400 luxurious rooms and suites, but we particularly love is the stunning rooftop swimming pool.

Lined by Doric columns, the swimming pool of this luxury family Singapore hotel peers over the Singapore River to the surrounding neo-classical buildings of the Colonial District, making for a truly unique Singapore backdrop.

Kids are given activity colouring books and ice cream vouchers on arrival. We also love that the Fullerton Hotel is situated right on the Singapore River pedestrian zone, making it easy to walk to the many nearby restaurants with a stroller.

Marina Bay Sands Hotel

It’s hard to do a roundup of the best hotels in Singapore without mentioning the Marina Bay Sands. This large luxury Singapore hotel hogs the city’s skyline with its three grand 55-storey towers and boat-like roof structure that presides over the Marina Bay area.

The three staggering hotel towers house 2,500 guestrooms and suites, and are linked to convention and exhibition facilities, theaters, a casino, an enormous shopping mall and numerous restaurants.

While the enormity of the hotel can make it feel somewhat impersonal, its amazing long infinity pool on the rooftop means that this will always be one of the most popular family hotels in Singapore.

This 150m infinity pool on the 57th floor provides some of the best photo opportunities anywhere in Singapore. It’s worth spending a night here just for a dip!

There is also a choice of fabulous rooftop bars and restaurants if you can book a babysitter for the evening.

Raffles Hotel Singapore

If money is no object when looking for a family friendly hotel in Singapore, then it is hard to look past the most famous hotel of them all: the exceedingly luxurious Raffles Hotel.

You can read our full review of Raffles Hotel Singapore here.

Raffles Hotel Singapore

Renowned for its opulence and colonial splendour, Raffles Hotel is one of the most famous hotels in the world and perhaps not where you would initially think of when you think of family accommodation in Singapore.

But we found it pretty family friendly overall. If you are looking for family rooms in Singapore, many of the bedrooms come with two double beds and plenty of space. There is a huge choice of restaurants around the hotel and in the adjoining arcade, with even more within a short walk.

It has a swimming pool, is close to public transport (there is an MRT station across the road in Raffles City shopping mall) and is overall just a fabulous experience. If you have cash to splash then I would definitely consider Raffles as a choice for your family hotel in Singapore.

  1. I’m tempted to book a hotel on Sentosa for our 5 nights in Singapore, based on your recommendations. We have Mr 5 and Miss 1. Are any hotels on Sentosa close to food courts and cheap eats and a little supermarket? Thanks!
